The only sports Alleva has hired new coaches for are all failures except one

And that one wasn't even his first choice and only happened because his initial hiring attempt for softball was a clusterfrick.
Men's Basketball - 2 utter failures
Women's basketball - 1 massive failure that killed a top program
Tennis - NCAA sanctions from coaches under his watch
Men's Football - Orgeron as head coach (nuff said)
Amazing to see how badly this guy has been performing at his job. Utterly pathetic that he is still in place.

You do know that an AD does more than hire and fire coaches, right? Alleva has kept LSU well in the black and he has overseen several physical plant improvements.
His women's basketball hire has not "killed the program". They are a candidate to make a deep run to at least the Sweet 16 this year.
All of that having been said, the only thing that gets Alleva either run out of town or being hailed as a savior is the success of his football hire. I think we all see where that is trending at this moment.

This is such bullshite. Anyone can keep lsu in the black. The football team prints money, even when your AD hires shittastic coaches.....

He's been a disaster.

Well, anyone but Coach O.

Joe Dean had LSU athletics in the black 20 years before the SEC Network existed.
Let that sink in.
Let that sink in.

Do you honestly think this has been that difficult given the position of the programs? His programs have all lost money besides football and baseball, which have traditionally been in the black. It's not like he took over an AD fighting for financial life.

Caldwell/Fargas was a bad hire that was massively overpaid, and a 10-21 record is unforgivable in any season. This was a program that went to 5 straight final fours. That 10-21 record was LSU's worst in over 20 years, and their first losing record since 1994-1995 season.
She has effectively killed the program from a standpoint of making money and running near break even. It is a massive money loser now.

This is just the most obvious of his poor hires, and the one that has the potential to cause financial issues across the board for LSU's AD.

Don't fight it man. Alleva and his expertise are the only reason LSU is currently such a strong financial power.
