The interior DL will get better, but it’s a concern for now

Vandy had some gaping holes on zone plays that they cut up most of the time.

Logan will be back, Ferrell will get back in game shape, Ika will get better and the 3 young pups, Roy, Evans, and Guillory will get better with time. But it’s an issue right now.

I’m not even worried about the DL especially with the younger guys getting better but the linebackers other than Cox have to get better.

I think Clark is working through being a full time player, making the calls, etc. We’ve seen enough of him to know he can play. Baskerville was really bad I noticed last night.

Time to get the young pups out there more. We have the talent on the roster and it’s gonna be that kinda yea anyway (I think).

seemed like he got limited action last half and some of the 2nd.

Hardly saw him out there after went after the big run after the catch by their TE

Roy looked damn good for the few plays that I spied him. Evans seemed to hold his own for a recent convert from the OL. He is a big mofo.

I’m more concerned with the linebacker play. If we can get 99 more reps, Guillory healthy we should be ok.

A rotation of Logan Ika Evans Roy Guillory isn’t terrible.

Ika, Logan, Farrell and the young guys isn’t terrible. Getting Logan back will definitely help.

Yes, those gaps are there, but the LBs have fill them. Too often Clark and Cox either overpursued or got caught up in traffic allowing for those gaps.

It’s hard to make plays when your DTs are getting manhandled. They have to be able to somewhat control the line

I can’t tell if it’s a physical incapability or the scheme but not much is going on there at the moment

I was thinking the same thing. The DL was not shedding the blocks and the second level wasn't coming in and laying the thump. Hopefully, this will improve by UF game.
