Sometimes age doesn't equal maturity. I have personal experience. Someone close to me (who wasn't a 20 year old) got into stupid drug related shite and could have gone to jail over it. He has three kids. Luckily that person has chosen the correct path.

Yeah I think this dumpass let the alcohol get the best of him. This gonna hurt him and his family long term. Word to the wise KEEP THEM NUTS IN THE PANTS if you don't know the other person.

Yeah, this guy was a dumbass. I think there are more constructive ways to punish him than 10 years in the slammer. From the things I've read and heard (i.e. interviews) I think he has been humbled by this experience. You can see it in his eyes in the mugshot.
Smiths Station, AL (which I think is where he lives) has a population of 11K. Phenix City has a population of 31K. Places like this means EVERYONE KNOWS EVERYONE. If he is released on bail, Teabagger should be made to do 1000s of hours of community service by going around speaking to kids about the consequences of your life choices/drinking excessively, etc. It's not like he has a job to go back to.
He should also be made to publicly apologize to his victim.

Did the Tiger fan get charged with public drunkeness?

-----------------------------------
In New Orleans almost everyone is drunk in public and it is well known that this is acceptable.
In New Orleans it is also well known that if you expose your genitals in public you will be arrested.
I've seen people get arrested for pissing in the street. One thing I have never seen until now is someone whip their genitalia out in a dining establishment and then proceed to climb up on the counter and hump someones face.
Let's not try to compare apples to oranges here. There were 50,000 people walking around drinking that night. There was 1 person humping someone's face on a counter at Krystal and exposing himself.

Until I hear differently, I have to assume that the Sam interview was legitimate. I've been following this on a Facebook group and a few of the facebook "investigators" claimed to have talked to "Sam."
Your default is believe a sworn shite-stirrer?

I don't care if Finebaum is a shite stirrer or not. Until it is made public that the call isn't legitimate, I'm going to take it for its word.

Seriously, it's called spin control. And I laugh really hard at your assertion that his eyes are humble in his mugshot. He's looking at 15 years in that camera, of course he is going to look humble.

Nope. Look at the video. His friends are egging him on and encouraging him. Notice nobody tried to stop him. Not even the females.
This was one of the many things that amazed me two weeks ago. Actions that would have HUMILIATED my wife, the Bama women literally stood there and laughed at it. Even the direct confrontations I had with Bama "men" who were coupled, each time, their wives stood by and laughed. Look at this incident. The "souther belle" took pictures in the background.
Amazing.

Last year we had Harvey and the Bama fandom declared that he was an isolated crazy, that most Bama fans weren't like that.
Except for the fact that I saw Updike THREE times around the FQ before the game, and each time he was taking pictures and signing autographs.

This year we have several minutes of video where none of them even tries to intervene, rather encourages him.
Nope. Falls right in line with everything I saw.
Only thing missing were the others waving pom poms while they chanted "Roll Tide Roll".

Just goes to show you what a bunch of scum many of these Sabama fans are ... The flower of Sabama women hood on display for the world to see. I thought there was always a lunatic fringe of Gump fans, like the ones that call into Fine scum. I now realize their is no fringe ....

Holy crap. I never heard about that.

The fact that Updyke is a hero tells you all you need to know about the Bama fan base. Anyone want to bet against a Downing defense fund and website being set up shortly.
Every fan base has their crazies, only Bama turns them into heroes.

How about if he has to do that while wearing an LSU shirt?
Oh, and a tip of the hat to Sheriff Taylor for doing the right thing.

I like "Troll Damn Tide" ... fits a variety of Gump behaviors.
