Football, Baseball, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball.

We have never had four high level coaches at the same time.

I am so excited to think about the next few years. And our baseball coach has yet to coach a game!

Scott is the real GOAT

We’ve got or are getting top notch coaches across the board. It’s really fun to see.

I like the game that Jay Johnson talks, but he has to prove it before labeling him as top notch.

Just makes you wonder:

How do bad or subpar ADs not realize you have to go hire big time coaches, especially at big time schools? It’s wild.

It’s so amazing to think that LSU isn’t a one trick pony like Alabama, Georgia, Vandy, Kentucky, etc. in sports. We are elite at every level and have the best athletes in the country across all sports.

Did Brown, Gunter, Skip, and Arnsparger tenures overlap for a couple years?

There are literally a handful of programs with the financial wherewithal to go big in every sport. Most schools, even top tier schools, have to economize on salaries somewhere.

Lol, they’ll get shite on on game day by the rant with the same zeal as their predecessors were.

84-86

But I think our current four are more accomplished.

So here's the question.

Who wins a Natty first?

Sue Gunter was NOT a great HC at LSU. In order to keep from being fired at LSU, she was forced to turn over coaching planning/teaching to Bob Starkey and Pokey did the recruiting. Most of her wins were at Stephen F Austin.

Only Mulkey is at the top. We’ve been as good or better at the same time in the other 3. Mulkey is insanely good.

And most of KM wins are at Baylor. The OP stated we have never had 4 high level coaches at LSU like we currently have in the top 4 sports. Not saying the quartet of Arnsparger, Bertman, Brown, and Gunter were better or more accomplished but they were arguably high level. Arnsparger was very accomplished at the pro level, Bertman was unreal level, Brown had high level success, and Gunter had much success as a coach. I do think we have never had the top 4 that have the potential these do to win a NC at the same time however IMO.
