1 championship

2 sec titles
3 west titles

most top 10 finishes in lsu history
most top 15 finishes in lsu history
#1 ooc win % in lsu and sec history
longest ooc home win% in lsu history

chalking 2005-2016 up to 1 championship is crazy talk.

re: THE GREAT DEBATE: Saban v. Leslie v. O
You don’t read I literally said 15-0 was the best championship ship out of the three. But it’s not so much better it erases 100 wins and a championship.

I just Said it’s too early if he goes out and goes 8-5 3-9 and fizzles like Chizik I’m not putting him over Saban or Les

I dont see that happening though and As I said In my post, if he coaches here 10 years he’ll easily pass Les at least.

so you're saying....
Coach A- 1 national title and 4 top 5 finishes
=
Coach B- 1 national title and 1 top 5 finish

re: THE GREAT DEBATE: Saban v. Leslie v. O
1. Miles
2. McClendon
3. Saban

Saban makes the list because of what he has done at Alabama, as well as winning a title at LSU. Close call here with Dietzel, but Saban put the program back on the map and won one.

Cholly Mc gets in here because of his tenure and win total. Terrific coach just like Miles ran into Bear Bryant at Gumpville.

Les Miles makes the list because he would win 10 games a yr even with Saban at Bama and with poor QB play. Still hard to believe that he had that great gump team beat with Anthony Jennings under center.

O led us to arguably the greatest season if college football history. certainly the greatest offense ever. neither Nick nor Lelsie had undefeated seasons at LSU. Winner = O

This

Plus O is not done yet.
I’m looking forward to O winning 2-3 more National Championships

Let’s see where Coach B is in 9 years, but I suspect that if he has 4 more top 5 finishes, at least one more will be #1.

Saban-his resume makes him the greatest coach to coach anywhere he's been. As for here, he reinvigorated our program and made us elite. No doubt if he would've stayed he'd still be the greatest of all time

Miles-simply put, longevity. He has a great overall record, a national title and perhaps our 2nd greatest team of all time in 2011. His ambassadorship for our program while here is unmatched. Hopefully as time passes our fans appreciate him the way we should

Orgeron-likely not top 3 yet. He's off to a great start and has the greatest team of all time. He needs the longevity or another title to pass Les.

Oh you are right. His Natty is worthless. That silly Heisman award is just another participation trophy.

Gotcha

Lol having miles on the top.

It’s
O- only one with an undefeated team and heisman winner
Saban- he started it and won a title
Miles- backed into his title, nearly wrecked the program

Miles was stubborn on offense especially QB, but he did not “wreck the program”. That title belongs to Curley Hallman. Dinardo also was very hard headed with Lou Tepper.

re: THE GREAT DEBATE: Saban v. Leslie v. O
I will say that Coach O is the most loved football coach at LSU in its history. Saban was loved but not like Coach O. He is just too perfect of a fit and connects with everyone in this state. Adding a National Title cements it as fact.

This is coming from a former hater of the hire. I’m an idiot and have been humbled by that great man. I wish I could apologize to him in person because I legit feel bad that I was so stupid to bash him and call him a used car salesman. I thought he was a snake in the grass that fricked over Miles just to get his job. I’m forever a pos of shite but I won’t ever not be a huge supporter of his from now.

Again, never said he want but your not comparing him to scrubs.

Again your reading comprehension if fricking aweful.
