The "Freak" vs. Chad Lavalais

I think this comparison is most valid. Lavalais was the last DT to come in a start any number of games for us a true freshman. He played in 11 and started 3 in back in 2000. Now the question here is will Anthony Johnson perform worse, as good, or better than Lavalais did as a true freshman at LSU?

Yeah Lavalais was a lot older but even though Freak is younger I think he is more physically mature than Lavalais was a senior.
I think Freak will have a better Freshman Year and career at LSU.

Dorsey actually started the same amt of games as a freshman (3) and had similar stats.
That said, I expect Freak to have more of an impact than either did as a freshman.

Probably smarter than Lavalais. Who knows if he has the eye of the Tiger though? We shall see, everything is just a 'what if' question now. No one really knows.

What's CL doing now? I heard him on a pregame interview a while back say he was going back to LSU to finish his degree and maybe coach. I'd like to see him coach Freak.

I really think Freak will be the better freshman. I like everything about him. Seems like a quality young man as well.
