The fans that are okay with Bianco

Are the same fans that still believe the Box is the best stadium in college baseball. They keep their purple and gold glasses on and are stuck believing that LSU baseball is still what it used to be. And the sad part is I have a feeling they make up a larger part of the fan base than we believe and will be the reason that LSU stays lagging behind others in the SEC. Time for a lot of this fan base to wake up and expect better.

I think Bianco would have us playing more consistently but with the same exact ceiling that CPM had us at. It would be equally as frustrating.

Fans okay with Bianco are purely living in the past. Brandon Larson is not in the starting 9 neither is Brett Laxton

Just the part where he goes to Omaha once in 20 years at a very good baseball program. And even then he went 0-2.
His teams seem tense in postseason. I was told he has a mentality of "let's not lose this." Rather than, "let's go out and win this."

This. Bianco is a good coach…regular season coach. In many ways we would probably improve over what we’ve seen the past few years. But, he hasn’t proven he can win when it matters most. That’s the only reason I wouldn’t like the hire.

Same people bitching that we need another new stadium, are the same ones bitching that everything is so GD expensive to go watch college sports.

I'm not saying we need a new stadium. I think the current one can be upgraded to be more fan-friendly and create a better environment. And if it takes me paying a little more for tickets then so be it

LSU is clearly not at its apex. However, it is still one of the most profitable baseball programs, has first rate facilities and resources, pays top money to coaches, competes for deep post season runs, draws top tier recruits, has the best fan support in the game, has the strongest dynasty in the game.
Its still the best job in baseball.

OK, so we are not winning natty's every other year? Does anyone expect that level of success for decades?
The truth is; LSU can EASILY be in Omaha making a deep run next season (and beyond) if they make the right hire. This program is as healthy as its ever been.
