The fact that it was not announced today gives me some hope

I don’t think we are out of the woods just yet, but the longer this goes without an announcement the better chances it’s not Bianco IMO.

The fact that an 83 year old former coach has some kind of influence after being removed from the game 20+ years makes me concerned.

If LSU did make an offer I expect Bianco to accept. His days are numbered at ole miss so he has zero leverage.

Right. This can play out two ways. If Bianco really is the primary target, I would expect that we hear something within the next day or so. The longer it goes without an announcement, the better the chances that Bianco is not the primary target. But, if we don't hear anything by the end of the week then I'll get concerned that McDonnell or Godwin arent quite on board and we'll fall back to Bianco. I don't see us pulling Corbin or Vitello.
