The good news is that, at least for the rest of the season, we can give double middle fingers to the committee. But there needs to be specific guidelines hashed out before next season starts. This arbitrary matchmaker crap, and making up your own rankings isn’t going to cut it moving forward. I think they should be forced to use the AP and coaches poll.

They need to use computers.
The 4 BCS computers that don't take into account margin of victory (Wolfe, Colley, Anderson, Bilingsley) split Ohio State and LSU #1.
The BCS would have been LSU #1 due to AP/Coaches. We should just stick with that.

Margin of victory is dumb because they dont play common opponents. So you are basically saying Cincinnati's margin of victory is the same as LSU's margin of victory over Alabama.

You don’t understand why they are doing it.
They are purposefully ranking Big10 teams higher and SEC team lower in order to start swaying recruiting in an effort to get top recruits more interested in going to those schools over the SEC schools.
College football is big money especially for the SEC. The SEC has absolutely dominated in recruiting NFL caliber players for a long time now. The SEChasalso gotten the most lucrative TV contracts because of the NFL caliber recruits on the field. The committee is attempting to change that.

Lol if you think recruits gaf that Wisconsin is #10 or wherever they are ranked.
My only gripe with the committee is using the eye test for assessing teams. And by that they mean looking at the box score at the end of the game. Get that shite out of here.
