The commentators yesterday were terrible.

I lost count how many times they said something about a coach or team when they were using the other team or coaches name. That was probably the worst commentated game I’ve seen. I even heard one of them say Fulton was injured all last year. I’m guessing homework isn’t required anymore.

Couldn't decide how to pronounce "Ensminger" and "Edwards-Helaire" all night. Reminded me of how many times Trindon Holliday was Trenton Holloway and whatnot... I was also confused for a second when they were talking about how Malzahn would try to take the clock down to 3 seconds so he could kick a field goal to beat LSU. Started to wonder if Gary had tossed a few back during the commercial breaks.

Never had control of it and bobbled it the entire time down. That is what was obvious on the replay.

Seriously. The dude seems smart sometimes, but other times it seems like he has the lowest football IQ of any announcer I’ve ever seen. When he was saying that he didn’t see anything and it looked like a catch, I Couldn’t believe what I was hearing. It was obviously bobbled the entire way down and dislodged when he hit the ground.

Gary kept messing up names and teams. Was clearly wrong on calls in several situations. He had a rough afternoon and Auburn losing just made it worse for him.
