There he goes throwing people under the bus again

That’s what I was saying before. We’ve seen him shoulder the blame when he thinks he made mistakes or didn’t have people ready. If he’s “calling out” players like he has been it’s cuz he’s coached them to do things and they just aren’t doing them.

I’ve also been a huge proponent of not taking anything in a post game presser too seriously cuz the emotion of the game is still on the coaches sleeve. A couple days later, after film and reflection is when you get a coaches true feelings about something.

I’ll tell you having a coach at least acknowledge the problem is nice in its own right. I couldn’t stand JJ standing at the optimum saying his team played with great effort after a 20 point loss.

Basically just said the same thing in another thread. It seems like he's coaching through the media as a last resort kind of thing. This isn't the first time the players have heard this stuff.

I think the recruiting tells a tale of its own. I think there are a few guys on the team that either don’t have it or don’t want to buy in. If the guys aren’t up to snuff, they will get replaced.

Things have and continue to go awry, but I do believe we will fix them.

Let's stop pretending that WW still is not putting out a better product than JJ and Trent because he IS. We can hit warp speed all we want and pretend we are Kentucky or Kansas but we arent. Still, we can be a basketball school called LSU. We still have to build the brand.

We need a rim protector and a true PG and top of key defender for next season. We should have both. And defense will pick back up. And it still can. We run that 1-3-1 at the right time? Alabama got bit by it. UK did not. Wade should work on that defense all off season. Need depth to utilize it. We will have that.

Hard to play solid D with 7 guys.

WW needs to talk less and learn to coach more. A DI coach should have a defensive scheme figured out by this time of the season. The problem is we don't have an identity on offense or defense. We're lost and look like we're chasing our tails. We have enough talent that we should be blowing out a lot of teams in the SEC, but when you don't know how to coach talent, this is what happens! He's clueless when it comes to coaching before and during the game. If we make the big tourney, it will be because of talent, not coaching!

He’s supposed to plead the fifth at a press conference?

Lmao as usual you post the antithesis of the truth. We absolutely have identities on both ends, Wade has made a mistake by thinking Watford can guard point guards and shooters. The contrast before and after the move was made is as obvious as can be. It’s a simple schematic mistake the things you’re talking about are just ignorant nonsense.

I said something very similar to this in an earlier post a few days ago about trimming 8-10 points by improving dribble penetration defense, better communication on screens/switching and rotations. Hope they can get those issues fixed because they can be really good if so.

The lack of the average poster on here, to not recognize sarcasm is mind boggling, to me.
