is false. LSU 2018 team has as much talent as ever, it's just inexperienced and unproven as of yet.

Our QB situation is as good as anyone in the SEC other than Alabama and Georgia.

We may have the deepest talent at WR in the SEC and the best in many years other than the year of Landry and OBJ (though we only used those two that year and will go much deeper this year. ) It seems a bottomless pit of talent at WR and TE

RB are under rated and CEH is going to emerge as a top tier talent and Brossette is under estimated

OUr o-line is deep and talented with some future NFL'ers like Charles, Ingram and Lewis on the line.

Defense is stacked:

Dline is deep with future NFL players.

LB led by future NFL all pro Devin White

CB's may be inexperience but when you have another future NFL all pro manning one of the spots it is less of a worry.

Safties with Delpit Monroe Stevens Harris look good and then add in experienced Battle and Paris and it is as deep and talented as any team in the country

Not true, but it's still really well off overall with some glaring questions at certain positions (CB, RB)

Just made a thread saying 8 wins exceeds expectations and earns Orgeron an extension.

I think the main thing is the offensive identity is not known yet

Who are going to be the key play makers? Giles seems like he will likely be the #1 target but who are going to be the other role players? Talent is definitely there. Just a lot of unknowns has people skeptical.

Defense has the potential to be great and actually does have some proven talent.

Unproven/ inexperienced at WR (other than Giles), at RB, thin at CB and questions about OL in pass protection, especially. No starter at QB will have started a college game before. Lots of questions, but, yes, good talent overall.
Best talent/ experience is DL, White and Greedy. All on the defensive side.

The CB position is probably in better shape than some think. We know Greedy can play. We have other guys that will fill out the remaining CB spots. Missing Fulton hurts assuming that he won't be playing next year.

Vegas's expectations are not our expectations.

Vegas doesn't give two craps if Orgeron stays for 300 more years.

This 2018 CFB group is a good to great squad. Trash like GLENN GUILBEAU, USA TODAY Network, is on the Nick Saban payroll, and he says otherwise. Welcome to pigsty Louisiana.

Vegas is trying to get people to bet money on either side of that line.

It DOESN'T mean that Vegas thinks 8 wins is a GOOD season.

Good god, boxcar, this is the dumbest thing I've read here in a long, long time.

No. 8 wins exceeds Vegas’ prediction.

Prediction does not equal expectations.

For example, I can predict based on track record that an employee will only complete 60% of his/her assigned tasks, while I still EXPECT 90%+ completion.

we can beat them but unfortunately Bama probably has their best team ever this coming season in that they finally have a game changer at QB, the one position that had made them vulnerable in the past. Georgia may be just as good as Bama.

Even if this was or is our most talented team ever it is still far behind Bama and Georgia this coming season who have hit new levels

I think people forget that Giles was a Biletnikoff semifinalist. I like this year's team and I think CEH is gonna be a beast.

So LSU has their greatest team of all time this year and unfortunately so does Bama?

Well frick...

One is coach by Ed Orgeron and the other Nick Saban?

This is just unfair..
