The 2 pt conversion was BK not letting refs determine the outcome.

He'd seen enough with the stripped fumble and tipped pass calls that benefited Bama. Just a Great coaching decision.

Going for two left Bama with no chance. Only logical decision.

It was pretty suspect at pivotal moments in the game, none of which favored LSU

My thoughts exactly. That tipped pass no call was the final straw. When JD5 scored, I said just go for 2 and end this. Win or lose, just end it. So glad he made that call. We’d all seen enough.

I think that was his plan all along when he kneeled with 5 plays remaining in regular. He knows if the offense is that close to end zone they will execute. He out manuvered Saban with that.

Refs aside (and they were fricking awful), you don’t give it back to a guy like Bryce Young. He will eventually beat you.

Both disputable plays went BAMA's way. However, I am re-watching...there is one ref who is staring dead eyed at LSU players posing for imaginary pics in the end zone after the OT TD...he didn't call it. And I have seen less called. I think we lost the ref battle, but, him not calling that was huge.

I think it was due to the new rules. Why wait for a 2 point conversion war? If you have a play you like, go for it now. Beautiful call.

BK was on the refs all night. You might be right. He was clearly pissed with the officiating.

No. That was do or die because you don’t want to go toe to toe with Bryce Young in double overtime. What’s more is it was an absolute statement to his team.
