I watched a show or movie the other day and this woman lied about a guy killing a beloved local.. all to protect her boyfriend, who actually did the murder.
The entire town was ready to literally mob the guy over it and hang him before any due process.. up until the last few seconds she finally came clean and said she made it up.
I know, a movie.. but goodness people really should just wait.
LSU did the right thing by removing him from team activity until he had his proceedings, but there is NO POINT in booting him off the team over allegations.
Alleva forced the Duke Lacrosse coach to resign or else he would be fired.. all over false allegations from a stripper against his players.
Let's learn from this..

Don’t jump at each others’ necks. You honestly don’t know what is true and what is not. An accusation does not equate to guilt, but retracting that doesn’t mean it isn’t true either. Its people saying stuff, and all you are going off of right now is their word. And people’s word these day’s means next to nothing.

I still stand by my generic statement that men shouldn’t put their hands on a woman in a violent manner. I also know that their are circumstances that preclude this. To defend yourself from an attack or a cop trying to effect an arrest in a violent female.
