13 here... sitting in a state fans living room as we'd been working on his boat and came in to watch the game... he still remembers it as well as I do

My favorite of all of Hawthorne's calls.

I was 42 and in the driveway cleaning the boat for a trip offshore...
wife and friend were chatting under the carport...
the radio was on in the boat and I was listening to the game when IT happened...
I started hollering and screaming...wife thought I had broken a leg...
all I could scream was TIGERS WIN! TIGERS WIN!...

I was screaming so loud in my apartment that somebody called the cops.

So much emotion in one swing.
I know it doesn't compare to a first pitch walk-off 2HR in the bottom of the 9th to win the CWS, but the 2000 comeback with Cresse walkoff single to score Barbier is up there too.

My Daddy is a Bolton High School graduate. This story continues to be surreal for me. Wayne is such a stand up man.

I'm 31 now and to this day I still hope I run into Mr. Morris at the ballpark so I can get an autograph. I want his autograph more than any other LSU great.

I didn't make it to Omaha that year and was watching the game with my ex brother in law from Alexandria. He was pissed and walked out the room in the eighth to go out to drink a beer by the pool. When he heard me teal about Lanier striking out, he yelled "Well shite". When Morris hit the ball, I jumped and screamed and then after rewatching it, we both ran around the pool not knowing what the hell just happened. He ended up in the pool and I just freaking cried like a little girl. Emotions that game were unbelievable.

Man especially watching Mr Gladneys footage from the 3rd baseline stands that he posted last year. unreal.

I was watching it in a hospital room while my little brother was being born. The game was on damn near every TV in the hospital. When it happened the floor erupted.
I was 9 and remember it like it happened earlier today.

I was 19 and at that game. When he hit that ball you would have thought he hit it in Alex Box. Rosenblatt was packed with tiger fans. The roar was unbelievable.

I've never been to Omaha at the old stadium and I will regret not going as song as I live.

The new stadium is nice and all but it does not compare to the old. You could feel all the greatness that had played years and years before when you walked into the old stadium. It was truly baseball at its core and I wish they would have never torn it down.

I was 11 , playing in a little league baseball game . The park announcers came on the loud speakers saying LSU was about to start the 9th inning down 1 . The entire park stopped and listened to the game on the loud speaker ... It was a day ill never forget !!..
