11/19/2011. 2 weeks after playing us in the first "GOC."

Oh and btw -- we all know what happened a couple of months later.

The point is, ladies, top tier teams occasionally run up against a confounding running scheme.

'Bama v. Ga Southern

That is all. Have a Grea-ea-eat day.

That game feels like yesterday to me. I remember watching and just being like what the hell is going on haha. Anyway, I don’t think it’s just this one game that pissed people off, it’s the continuous issues we’ve seemed to have on defense all season with giving up big plays.

Bama gave up over 300 to olemiss this year also.

I hope you don't think LSU has an elite defense

LOL

LSU has an average defense (based on TEN games of data), what is with you people trying to convince everyone otherwise? We will see if its good enough.

you should try 'Miles is good at offense' bit too

The point is that 2011 'Bama defense was all-world, sending multiple players to the NFL. And look what they did to us on 1/9/2012.

That D gave up 302 rushing yards to a sub-tier school.

Do we have an elite D? Absolutely not.

It would be different if this was a one time thing but there’s a new excuse every week why they gave up a bunch of yards or points.

Yes, defense has not been as good as we're used to. But they stepped up when they were needed. Everyone is over-reacting.

We've played four top-10 teams, of course our D will look worse statistically vs Ohio State and Clemson's. It isn't elite but it is still good. We only gave up 7 damn points in the first half...of course they are going to let up in the second half because it is human nature against a shite opponent. Damn y'all get real.

Jerrick McKinnon was the quarterback of that team.

If you read between the lines, what’s obvious to me, is that everybody on this board is feeling uneasy about the defense. Especially the posters who are spending a lot of time scouring the college football archives and box scores, doing comparative research to help ease their mind.

You’re not fooling anyone.

The GOAT 2011 D also gave up a lot to Western Kentucky.

I fully expect the defense to bounce back; but Divinity needs to be on the field for aTm on.
