From a coaching standpoint the program has done a complete 180… But dumb dumb better stay off the fricking phone when he’s making strong offers or will be back to 10 win seasons in the blink of an eye.

They don’t like having a successful coach on campus with whom O can be compared against. Someone who within a short period of time has skins on the wall and objectively quantifiable success. Someone who doesn’t need to have cherry-picked and extremely specific statistics prepared to support his continued widespread support.

I can’t think of a more disappointing season in my lifetime for an LSU team. I was a bit surprised we sucked THAT bad in football in 2008, but there wasn’t much hype around the team anyway.
If this baseball team doesn’t make it to Omaha, it’ll make a nice case for the title. Preseason number one to getting waxed by Southern and Louisiana tech. Swept by a bad Texas team. No hardware. But the season isn’t over so we shall see

Very sound points Damone.
I like the direction Orgeron has our program going in and support the head coach regardless of my feelings about how the hiring process was handled. I have, however, noticed there are a handful of posters who seem to be more firmly in Orgerons corner while taking shots at Will nearly every chance they get. One has to wonder if they’re really LSU fans or Orgeron fans or fans of other schools trying to stir the pot.
