Last season, Texas was the 126th ranked pass defense according to ESPN

They start the season at 110th this year

Texas fans have been saying that LSUs offense won't be a problem because "they see this kind of offense every week" but they failed to mention that they also can't stop that same offense that they face every week.

Also, this is what they were wearing for warm ups against LA Tech.

Lot of strong talent among their DBs, but very little experience with the exception of their 5-Star Safety.

I'm feeling like this game is going to be very similar to the Miami game from last year. I'll be nervous for about 20 minutes then I'll realize they dont have the horses we have and we would have to give the game away to lose. If we execute and have a good game then we could win by 3 touchdowns.

Actually, both of their starting safeties are top notch. It is their other DBs that are talented, but lacking experience.

Burrow will need to do a better job leading the receiver against Texas than he did this week. Not trying to diminish how well he did, but they have enough talent to make a play on underthrown passes.

And their nickel is really good too. Plays like a mix of Stevens and Vincent. Not as fast as Vincent, not as strong as Stevens but is good in coverage and stopping the run at or behind the LOS.

Last year their two senior CBs were below average to bad and their highly recruited freshmen CBs were terrible. Judging from the La Tech game the CBs looked a little better, but not by much. I think LSU will have success on mid range, outside routes. UT plays allot of cover 2 to help out their CBs.

Right you are. Brandon Jones was questionable for LA Tech on an ankle surgery. Looks like he was cleared and played. Jones and Sterns both had recent surgeries.
