Based on potential, the six-man crew of d-line rookies on campus now could wind up being the most talented collection of players at that spot in program history.

Wasn't something similar said about Brockers and Logan?

I remember Chief saying something along the lines that they were the best tackle tandem he had ever coached.

He was in the 2 deep last year and played a lot. Held his ground and hustled everytime he took a snap. Stats don't always paint the whole picture. Next time you should watch games before being overly hateful towards a player.

You from Covington? You talk shite about a player who has been ahead of Johnson for years. Then compare Johnson, who has barely even played, to some of the best ever at LSU.

I can't stand fans who don't watch games, but still talk shite.

Hype? He was a relative unknown and busted out in 2011. Him and Brockers were the best in college football. Even last year he dominated. Taking on double teams almost every play so other players could make the plays.

You're either blind or stupid for that comment. Without Logan last year we would have lost the South Carolina and maybe Texas A&M games.

Ego started to show his potential last year, and by all reports, was really strong in the spring. And reports out of camp say he's pretty much unblockable so far.

Logan was offered late in the process, I believe. And he proved to be solid for us. And is getting great reviews in Eagles camp.

No kidding. Thats crazy. Logan came in as a 6'3 235 small school de that most questioned. He left a team leader in many ways, see #18, and was drafted in the 3rd round and in the mix at dt for the eagles and getting great reviews. Dude must be from red river and expected him to be a top 5 pick?

A lot of people dont really understand how great Brockers was. He will be the best DT we put in the NFL. Even better than Williams. Dude is THAT good.

And while Logan isnt a dominant #1 DT, hes a GREAT complementary DT playing alongside a bigger guy. Hes smaller, so had trouble with double teams last year when he was the #1 DT, but when he goes 1on1 against an OL he destroys them because he is extremely quick off the line. Hes actually similar to Geno Atkins. Not saying he will have that kind of success in the NFL, but size and playing style wise hes just like him.

Umm what?? Ego was good last year in the rotation and has been every bit as impressing as Freak so far in camp.

and whodidthat, i think he was talkign about Freak Johnson, not Mickey Johnson. I thought he was at first talking about Mickey then figured it must be Freak. If it is Mickey, dude is a fool.

I agree with ya! but why did you ask if he was from Covington? When I wanna insult someone I ask them if the are from Chalmette.....

I think whodidthat thought he was talking about Mickey Johnson, who is from Covington. But, i think he was talking about Freak Johnson, not Mickey.

Mickey Johnson is from Covington so he was calling him out for being a potential homer.
