Watching this Sunday game against A&M. I thought they would be a little humbled after being swept last weekend. These lil bastards act like they are the damn Houston Astros. Can’t wait to kick that arse next weekend.

Have the battle is believing you can win. TN absolutely believes it every time they hit the field.

Well then, we need to explain some things to them.

I have no problem being cocky if you can back it up, which Tennessee did this weekend.

We are definitely being cocky this year and I love it.

There’s a way to do it and not do it. LSU does it right. Tenn not so much

When it comes to coaches, sure. Don't throw bats at people or body umps.

But in terms of the players, how we've acted this year is really no different than how Tennessee acts. It's bat flips and choreography, and it's good for baseball because it shows everyone that it's ok to have fun.

Yeah, some of our flips have been just as bad.

Hope we get a lenient crew, but I’m not holding my breath.

So crews is flipping outfielders off rounding the bases? Staring down defenders watching the ball go over the fence? Nope and nope.

Lets not act like Beau Jordan didn't do this a couple years ago to Texas and we didn't love it.

Skenes has been the king of the stare down this year, and it's awesome.

That’s like saying we didn’t like something from the 80s. Not a single guy is in the dugout from that team. Also way different circumstance as tons of trash talking was done before that if I remember correctly.

Nothing wrong with being cocky just don’t act like a bitch when you lose, which Tenn did last year.

Got it.

Meh, the one thing I'll give Vitello credit for last season is his postgame press conference after Notre Dame beat their arse. He was shockingly very gracious and even said he liked the Notre Dame taunted them because his guys needed to learn to be able to take it if they dish it.

I have zero issue celebrating with your team mates. But it can certainly be taken to the extreme, and LSU is walking that line right now. The poses at home plate after a home run “don’t bring anyone new to the game.”

Now, where I really draw the line is running your mouth or motioning to the other team. That is a 100% a no-no and I encourage any umpire to help control that. Riley Cooper stared down the A&M dugout last Sunday after an inning ending double play, then promptly came out the next inning and couldn’t record an out as we lost the lead and the game.

You'd be surprised.

Why do you think the World Baseball Classic was so fun and universally loved this year?

It was good baseball that was shockingly not emotionless, which a lot of sidewalk fans assume.
