he's the OC and WRs coach. Clay Helton, the head coach, coaches the QBs at USC. Helton has had play calling duties and has coached the QBs at USC since 2010.

I'm just saying, Martin;s phone hasn't been ringing off the hook and one would think that with all Tennessee has been through they may want to reach out to a guy that wants the job. Martin is not the hot shot young coach y'all want him to be. The HC, Clay Helton, was OC from 2012-2015 and then retained play calling duties and remained in charge of the QBs when he was promoted to HC prior to the 2016 season. Martin does not call plays and does not coach QBs. So tell me why we should have interviewed him? What experience does he have that would warrant interviewing him? Martin has not coached QBs since 2009 at New Mexico. He has not called plays since 2008 at North Atlanta High School

meh. Tee Martin isn't even in charge of his own offense - its all Helton.
My gut feeling on this is O knows this is his last shot at ever hiring an OC, here or anywhere else. If hes potentially on his way out, hes going to ride with someone hes comfortable with.
