LSU jumps out early and keeps the foot down on the gas. They beat a great Auburn team in a hostile environment, they now know what they’re about. Guys will be flying around the ball on defense with this newfound confidence. Will be more like a 41-10 type game, rather than the “trap” game many beta males in this forum think. And 10 points is generous. Screenshot this, bookmark it.

I hope so but I have heard all of this before. They need to make a statement against LaTech.

Wrong. Close for 3 Qtr s. LSU 31- 14. Tech covers all day long.

If we keep turning the ball over and preventing them I think the score gets a little wider. I just think Burrow takes the offense where White has taken the defense. They know what kind of challenge this is and I think they make that statement tomorrow.

They also know it's a packed house so Tiger fans came to see a show. I think O is talking statement game. Stay focused but play hard and in the scheme. I think this team is full of leaders and very smart football players. I just have a feeling it might get away from La Tech by half time. Who knows though.

I would agree if Charles was playing, but without him it’s closer. He’s that important to this O.

At the end of the day, our offense isn't dynamic enough to really just boat race teams.

Our RB group is probably the weakest in decades.
Our QB, while good, isn't going to "wow" you like a Cam Newton or Vince Young.
Our WRs are unproven.
Our OL is still meh.

That said, I agree...LSU wins tomorrow 34-2.

I tend to agree with you. Hope we're wrong though and this is a blowout from the gate.

You remember what that 2011 offense did? This offense is just as good as that one and I'd say a chance to be much better and more consistent. Defense and STs is just as good overall. We don't have a HB but we have a defense full of playmakers.

I think this team has the ability to blow teams like La Tech out no problem.

You'll see a much improved Traore tomorrow. Willing to bet on that. Just like everyone thought this offense would get dominated against Auburns DL bc of the way they all played against SE. You just can't judge players off of one game.

The fact of the matter is that he's got the ability and that first game out the way. With more focus on his mistakes and clam play, he will be much different. Book it.

If E dusts off the I and beats them over the head with it they'll be praying for it to be over midway through the third quarter.

Vegas says 35 to 16 LSU. Line dropped a half point in the last hour.

If the offense focuses more on the run you may be right. Traore will have to have help pass blocking. You just don't wake up overnight and be good run blocking. I also didn't see much effort out of him against SELU. Maybe he was sick or something.

Tech isn't a bad team at all and have a good offense. I would bet on Tech covering.

If we can pressure their QB then I will agree to a blowout. Kid is good when he has protection, but folds like a cheap tent under pressure. If our Dline plays like it did against Auburn game won’t be close. Not really worried about offense, I think we will see improvement this week in Burrow

I hope so, and have some reason to think so too.

Already did the 'letdown game' with SELU, and everyone on the team had to listen to "We've overrated the Tigers" from the national media all week.
This is basically a do-over for that game, even though the opponent is far better.

I think this time, we see a motivated team ready to show they deserve the high ranking they've gotten, and put on a show for the home folks.

Seeing this statement is just funny but I agree. It's just so funny how things can turn on a dime with a good QB. When your QB plays well the offense tends to work harder to perfect their craft. When the team knows their QB can't make plays or is limited, to me it trickles down into the entire offense and they all play limited.

I would really like to see our 2nd and 3rd backs take off in this game as well as some of the WRs besides Jefferson. Giles needs to pick his game up too. Sully/Dee/Chase/Marshall/Helaire/Curry would like to see all these have a good game and be a big part of the win. Time to get the FBs and TEs involved as well. Want to see some screens and fakes ran off of them. Short game to open up the run and PA deep balls.

A little more imagination in the playcalls. Execute one play to set up the next in the drive or possession. play our offense but get more involved while still being a physical team. It can happen.
