Mention all of the usual QBs you would think of, but absolutely ZERO mention of JB. Now, I'm not saying he is a top 5 QB prospect, but he should have rated an honorable mention. What I saw in the Spring game showed that he seems to have more power on his throws, which is what I thought would keep him out of the NFL. Now, not so sure...

Joe Brady is going to completely change the perspective of the LSU offense. Give it time and the season will show off what Burrow has.

Up until the last 2 games of the season (bowl game included), Joe had what? 9 TDs and 6 INTs? If he can pass for 3000 yds, somewhere around 25 TDs and just a few INTs, then people will start talking about him. Let's just wait and see how he does this season.

Joe will Be highly regarded by the middle of the season...and at the end, too. Bet on it.

He’s done literally nothing to this point to show that he’s a franchise caliber QB in the nfl. Hopefully this season he sets the world on fire.

What I saw in the Spring game

You can stop right there. The spring means jack shite, you think NFL scouts watch spring games?

Etling was drafted so Burrow can be too, especially if he has a good season

He’s already a top 3 preseason Heisman contender

If he wins the Heisman or makes it to NYC he will be a 1st rounder. He’s a top 10 talent IMO

Based on what stats?

Hate to break this too you but proclamations by Buckeye Ree are not facts

I mean we all excited at the possibility of a vastly improved offense but this is going overboard. Go look at Murray and Mayfield Numbers. We will never have numbers like that, no one in the SEC likely will.

And Tom Brady was drafted in the 6th round. His SR stats:

61% PCT
2217 Yds
16 TDs
6 INTs

This is the guy that wrote the article^^ - Chris Hummer
This is our go-to guy for insight on football? Really? OK

Am I surprised that 24/7 is clueless on what Burrow will do in Brady's offense this year? No. Not even a little bit surprised.

He may be very good at chronicling things that already happened. Probably is. But having the chops to spot talent? Doubt it. Not seeing a lot of years on the gridiron in this guy's physiognomy.

And he probably wasn’t mentioned in draft talk a year before that either

Etling was drafted in the last round. Burrow will go middle rounds 3rd-4th if he has the season I think he will.

Joe is a rich man’s Danny Etling and I don’t mean that as a knock. He’s an A+ leader and has a good grasp for playing the position, but he doesn’t have the physical skills you see out of first round QBs. I thought he made some really nice plays in the spring game and I’m optimistic on him this year and think he’ll definitely get a shot in the NFL but nobody should expect him to be on lists like this, especially not right now considering his pedestrian stats in his only year as a college starter

Jamarcus probably doomed LSU Qb's to later rounds for decades.
