Auburn, Alabama, and Texas A&M and you’re in the postseason right? Seems like the most realistic path right now even though still highly improbable.

I almost feel like winning a series from either Ole Miss or Arkansas is still more likely than sweeping all three of Auburn, Alabama, and A&M.

This sucks.

We're not sweeping 3 series in a row...

Win 9 straight SEC games, and realistic in the same sentence?

This team is not close to sweeping a sec series and you think they are going to automatically sweep 3 series in a row

Ole Miss and Ark could get ugly

Have you seen anything to make you think LSU can do that
The bullpen is garbage
Still no viable lefthander on the roster
The hitting is too sporadic during SEC play
The catching defense is bad when Travinski can't smother a buried third strike

Well be lucky to go 2-4 over the next two weekends

That said. Pencil us in for that, puts you at 6-15, with 3 weekends left.

At best we go 6-3 final 3 weekends.

End up with a 12-18 sec record

At that point, its time to cut bait

This team wasn't, and still isn't prepared for upper echelon competition. Just a fact of life, having to rely on too many Freshman, and hoping and praying your two legit starters can go 7-8, and it not getting blown by a worthless bullpen. Too much to ask for.

This team can barely string together 2 wins in a row much less 9.

I’ve already come to terms that LSU won’t make a regional and making Hoover will be a blessing.

Longest SEC win streak is 2 games. Longest streak this season is 4 games. You think we can win 9 in a row ? What have you seen that suggests we can accomplish this against any teams, let alone SEC teams ?

Believe it or not. The failure this season has been the pitching. When comparing our offense to others we can compete with other sec teams

The big problem is the freshman are not the problem. They are doing their part the best they can. It’s the sophomores and juniors not pulling their weight.

You have two legitimate starters that are really really good but followed by a trash bullpen and an even worse third starter situation.

Take away cranford, Catchers. Offensively we are not the best by no means but we can compete

I think the problem is is that even if we win game 1 and game 2, we don't have the bullpen for game 3. as much as I want the Tigers in the post season, I just don't think it is gonna happen, and if it did we'd peeter fast. Hope I'm wrong and they catch fire.

The most realistic path is firing PM and revamping the program

Man just enjoy the wins. This year is done. This isn’t a good team. We were clearly over-ranked again..

Sorry to say but LSU Baseball has become a shell of what it once was!
Things need to be done regardless of what they are to get her back where she needs and should be

This team has no shot at winning the conference nor the division. Might make Hoover to play additional 1-3 games.

Omaha in not possible this year. Meanwhile, programs like Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State are enjoying a great season.

LSU has failed. It may take until 2024 before the baseball program is relevant again. Mainieri inherited the Vatican and within four years, allowed the gates of Hell to burn it down. What a crying shame.
