It's been a few years since I've been to a home game. Scored some tickets and me and my bro will be heading that way. Will be just cruising around checking out the scenes.

Best just to bring a soft throw away ice chest for the brews? Not sure whats the norm now a days.

Yes. Now add a bottle of booze with the beers and you’ll be set.

It's tough lugging an ice chest around, so having a Styrofoam one eliminates the need to bring it back to your car or wherever.I once carried an ice chest full of beer from Tigerland, where we parked, to campus. Not making that mistake again.

Another idea: sometimes we would each get a 44oz cup, make a big, strong drink and be set for a couple of hours.

Ah, tailgate season, the best time of the year. Can't wait for Saturday.

Yeah the more I'm thinking about it this is the way to go. Plus less time hitting the head drinking beer

I have a $25 Coleman rolling ice chest. Works beautifully. Can’t wait for Saturday. Lots of old friends to see.

My guess is Chinese did in 570 BC but forgot about it.

In all seriousness, I lobbied TAF to license some in P&G and sell them out of bookstore with markup (proceeds to nutrition center or construction projects).

Maybe one day they will listen... and quit raising fees instead.

Walmart has a good cooler bag for $4.98 in their Ozark Trail stuff. I used to pay more than that for a styrofoam cooler

Stop by one of the gas stations and get the biggest soft drink cup with ice and favorite mixer. Get a bottle of crown. Mix. Tailgate in a glass. Actually very easy way to be mobile around campus, and drink without having to lug cooler and stuff around.

Get the cheapest backpack you can find and line with 2 trash bags. Instant backpack cooler.

Honestly, it is gonna be hot as balls for the first game, so I wouldn't plan to haul around any cooler unless you get something that you can roll and just pitch it when done. like some of the others say, I typically just make a damn big drink and nurse it for a few hours. drink too much in the heat and you will make yourself miserable before you ever get to the game.

As for sneaking in alcohol, they are not too strict on it as long as you don't do anything obvious...but if you look drunk as shite, they are probably gonna give you some extra attention.

I guess the whole point of my post is, be classy and enjoy drinking a reasonable amount and you will have a damn good day.
