Totally retarded!

There ARE no unoccupied spots within miles of the stadium. You get there first and you set up...especially the first game of the year. The spot is yours until someone gets there before you the next week...then it is theirs.

First come first served.

I could certainly secure a tailgating spot as an "objective", but I might not make many friends

hopefully not Ft. Polk hated that place, worst major army installation HANDS DOWN unfortunatley i graduated a wampus cat

Fort Riley.... 1st ID

Other than the fact that Polk is in Louisiana, it sucks, and so does JRTC.

Dude,

Just put ut your "Army of One" flag and place all of your LSU gear around and you probably can get away with tailgating wherever you want.

what you should do is set up a tent, say friday, in a place that you know will have a lot of people then not come til say 3h before gametime then be super pissed when people have moved your tent.

people don't understand that:

tent =/= being there in person

"WHO THE frick MOVED MY TENT???"

"don't know, that's where it was when we got here..."

Because the nearest parking spots are forever away.

Ok, so what's the etiquette if someone puts a tent up on Friday night in the spot I've been tailgating in for the last 12 years, then I get out there at 7 am on Saturday morning before that person arrives? If that happens to me, I'll be moving that tent, but just wanted to know what the "etiquette" is according to the rant.

the etiquette is if there's a person there, they win... and if not "i never saw nuthin..."

I know this prob a 50/50 opinion on this board but, In BT's pov coming out friday and putting your shite up and then not showing up to noon or later on gameday is unacceptable.

Also as far as im concerned every person that does this I hope your shite not only gets moved but its moved somewhere you never find it.

Putting your shite out on Friday and showing up later than 9 am is unacceptable in my book.

brett, there's plenty of room on the Parade grounds if you don't HAVE to have shade.
