Didn’t care for TBob, so I am happy he’s leaving.

Didn’t see that coming. It’s definitely a great opportunity with a big stage but the problem is you have to stay in character to stay relevant there. It’s 100+ people who are all trying to become the next big thing and if your ratings are growing then you are on the way out. It’s totally different than just being in the south La market where you’ve already made it.

I'd be curious to knwo what they are paying him. Barstool is funny because they make these people pseudo famous and while they pay a livable wage, I don't think many are getting rich. Its why brands like Bussin have to leave the umbrella to cash in.

I believe most of the new talent get a starting salary of 100k on a one year contract and then a negotiation after that first year. Im sure bonuses are tied to merch sales, etc.

Not a lot to be moving your family across the country where you have no family, new schools etc, in a much much more expensive market

You are betting on yourself. I think he will succeed

Pretty sure Hanny only unretired from sports radio because he was able to get free lunchs 11-1, but he still has to work with Ott.

Still can’t with the broad who talks about movies for 45 minute segments in the production booth. I can’t stand that shrew.

Jordy is killing it at 103.7 with his morning show. He actually talks sports and holds interviews. He’s the better Moscona in a lot of regards.

Just announced on OTB. He is moving the family to Chicago. Friday will be his last show.

Best of luck to T-Bob. Never short on entertaining and, by all accounts, a good family man.

After Dave Portnoy rallied the Michigan boosters/fanbase to buy Bryce Underwood away from LSU, I have boycotted all things Barstool Sports.

I'm sure they are heartbroken about it

Went to the Barstool Reddit and the Barstool fans are all very happy about this.

Apparently he made a very positive impression on them all when he was in studio a few months ago

For entertainment value bringing back tigerjohn could actually work. Better than any other idea I've read in this thread.

I'd bet it's a good $200k or so. They have a girl who is a nobody that Dave publically said was making $250k. Mintzy is making $100k+ and he doesn't actually do anything. T-Bob is and established media personality that has already done stuff with Barstool and he has a relationship with them. Compton said that their contract before they left they had a base contract of $3 million per year with the potential for more. T-Bob is basically going to try to replicate what Brandon Walker did. Brandon just re-signed and is probably making $1+ million per year.

I've watching him on Mostly Sports and The Yak and he has gotten very positive feedback from both audiences.
