Is it possible at all for our players and B-ball staff to walk into Alleva's office and demand a conversation with BOL, King, Alleva himself, and speak their minds about this special time: for them as a group and the memory of Sims and their desire to have their General at their side.

How the hell could they stop it if they went public. Alleva has a chance to redeem himself and give the entire basketball world a huge frick You.

Go out there next week in Sin City (DC) and shock the BB world turning it upside down with wins over two juggernauts in Michigan St and Duke.

Our administration is sitting on the precipice of something special.

Get our man reinstated, hold your ego at the door and let these players enjoy this run with the man who made it happen.

Tell Vitale, Yahoo, Ringer, ESPN, and everyone else to STTD and Good Day.

Michigan St has no idea what they are about to get.

Nominally only.

Washington makes Vegas seem like heaven. Every slimeball is there from Lobbyists, Politicians, and Barney Franks running a brothel out of his apartment.

Pure filth.

Just wondering if it is a realistic option.

I never said he would return, but the players and staff could press it under the table eith what happened revealed later.

They have sway as athletes to make a stand if they wish. They are about to go against two of the best teams in basketball and to win those games would be the best run in our history.

Id want my general at our side. Man who recruited me and was by our side when our fellow running mate passed. Make it personal.

Nope, because they'll be in DC.

These threads need to continue, as monotonous as it may seem. The message needs to continually be conveyed that we want our coach back, and we're tired of the current administration's shite. As dumb as it may be sometimes, the Rant has affected the media.

He had multiple chances to do exactly that but he chose to make himself the priority instead of what's best for the university.

He and F King have completely made themselves look like idiots, more than once I may add, with this rush to judgment. Neither should be retained by the university. LSU deserves better.

ETA: Pretty much what Laman said in the above post.

No. It’s not possible. People need to accept the fact that WW is not going to coach in this tournament and will not likely be back, agree or not. Support the coach and the team. Move on until this is over.

Ill get hate for this, but ive heard through some close basketball sources that know the details say that Joe Alleva is the victim here and it’s King we need to harass. King gave Alleva the orders and he had to follow suit and as much as everyone hates Alleva, he had to take the brunt of criticism and he didnt point any fingers. I dont want him as AD, but I feel for him in all this just as much as Will Wade. Neither have control, unfortunately.

If King cared about athletics more, Will Wade would be leading our team into the heart of the country (Washington DC) to battle the Spartans.

Absolutely not. Their total focus at this point should be on preparing for the Sweet 16 matchup ( hopefully matchups). The rest is outside noise that will create more distractions. They are settled into a groove , lets stay there and let the rest work itself out on its own.

I agree with this. I want Wade back, but it will become even more of a media sideshow and distraction at this point if he’s reinstated during the tournament. Roll with the situation we’re in and use it as motivation.

At this time this team needs zero distractions. Wade made the wire taps, it is what it is. They can win it all without Wade and go down in history, or win with Wade and get vacated with sanctions. No one really knows what the outcome will be.

I'm no fan of the admin, but they care about LSU's program more than one coach. So should all LSU fans.

Our coach is on tape twice trying to buy players. That's now publicly known. The inevitable NCAA punishment will be severe, and our admin is trying to minimize that as best they can.

The end game here is the overall health of the program in the coming years, not one tournament.

Look, I love the winning too, but it's hard to believe this board is so short-sighted.
