It was classic. He says LSU fans "are a mutant species capable of multiple blackouts during the day long wait for the game which would incapacitate a normal human but aren't even a speed bump on the way inside the stadium for these people."

He ends the segment in reference to other SEC schools following suit with the idea of selling alcohol at the games. He says "if it works, however much money LSU makes, don't kid yourself, you're not making as much, because you might beat them on the football field but you're not beating them at the beer garden."

Didn't they have a beer garden at Lambeau?

A drinking contest between LSU and Wisconsin fans may have been better than the game.

I know the beers will be over priced, but who won't go get at least one beer just to say they bought beer in tiger stadium?

It embarrasses me that the national media now thinks of the LSU fan base as a bunch of raging drunks.

I mean, aren't we, though?
That's pretty much the bedrock of south Louisiana culture.

I bought a bunch of beers in Tiger Stadium when the Saints played 4 games there in 2005.

SVP is talking about the LSU fans and our ability to pass a good time. We always take pride in our epic tailgates. Quit being a pussy

If we had a fanbase full of LSURussians, ESPN could have a segment on how much the LSU fanbase enjoys sticks up their rectums.

Van Pelt is the absolute best. One of the only national sports analysts that I like.

I was sad when they broke up SVP And Rusillo. It was easily my favorite radio show. Both have lost of love for lsu and our fans.

ETA: thanks for the down vote. I thrive off hate.i covet hate from ignorant posters/people. down votes on posts like this just make my day.
