Can you give those of us who can't watch TV in the middle of the day a brief rundown?

Can you provide details of what was said? The least you could do since us working men are allowing you to sit on your arse and watch ESPN all day in your underwear.

If you are going to start a thread then at least finish it with the details of your argument. Some people can’t watch TV AT WORK.

tRant generally has no idea what they are talking about. Unless it’s directly quoting an article, it’s just a bunch of made up fluff.

The reality is this was a decision made by lawyers and had absolutely nothing to do with public safety.

Probably the most accurate statement on here. It is a domino effect of CYA. NO ONE wants to be the person who went against the grain and potentially expose their organization to claims of liability. In that regard, I don't blame the commissioner for doing what he did. And you are either a fool or naive if you don't believe that is the ONLY reason this decision was made. If it truly was about "public safety" there wouldn't have been a piecemeal approach to ultimately getting to what we all knew would be the end result. They would have canceled immediately. But once the NBA suspended its season it was just a matter of time for college basketball.

The #1 priority in American society today. I spend as much time at work doing CYA paperwork as I do doing my actual job.

I feel like this is a long weird dream. What in the world is going on in this country right now ? Scared of the boogeyman. Unreal. No sports to follow. I feel like I’ve been placed in purgatory. Am I still alive ?
