Since they can't make a definitive decision on whether or not it would be best for Crowton to be on the sidelines or in the booth, I suggest that Crowton spend one half on the sidelines and the other half in the booth and assess results.Heard Crowton on Sports Monday say that with inexperienced QB's there were advantages to being on the sidelines to be able to look in their eyes and calm them down.Seems like a Pilot Program just might help make a decision what is best for LSU's QB situation. Worth a try at this point.

All well and good if our QB's were actually inexperienced, but they are not.

i have a feeling crowton struggles with making decisions, period. he's and analytical, analytical personality type. that also explains why he takes so damn long to decide on a play and get it to the field or to decide on making substitutions. being "on the clock" must be a nightmare for those wishy-washy types.

In agree with this, and think it is likely the reason Miles wants him on the sideline.
Seems to me like Crowton is playing chess up there, and trying to out-think everyone instead of just playing the game.
