For the last time, we LITERALLY went through this EXACT situation last year. USCe game was at noon last year. It was moved to 2:30 in Tiger Stadium.
I'm not arguing about the possibility, I'm just asking about the strategy. Is it done for attendance, logistics, or both? If it's attendance only, I'm wondering how much it really helps.
I remember people bitching last year that the game time was moved and they could have attended had the time been kept as is.

Are you sure that's not Shreveport/Bossier?

No shite, people evacuate to Baton Rouge, meaning that LSU fans are very familiar with the process and how it impacts a city after a storm.

If I heard Josh Eachus right just now, winds could be 50+ mph at game time Saturday in Gainesville.

I'm not sure and it impacts my beautifully crafted retort none at all
I googled "Baton Rouge flood"

Good thing Hurricanes dont leave any damage
Bruh the eye isn't going to be remotely close to gainesville if there is any effects it will be some wind with cloudiness, winds similarly to what you'd see after a strong cold front pushes through, or a thunderstorm...

Decisions cannot be made based solely on the "expected" track.

1) it could be more than THAT
2) What of evacuees from the coast, etc? I was in Baton Rouge for Hurricane Georges....the people leaving New Orleans snarled traffic and emptied the grocery stores and gas lines were ridiculous. That storm did not even hit New Orleans. But, the evacuation impacted Baton Rouge greatly

If I'm Florida here is what I say. There is a ninety five percent chance that the State of Emergency declared by the governor will be lifted on Friday so the game Saturday goes as scheduled. If LSU wants to prepare for the 5 percent chance the State of Emergency goes into Saturday then I can't control what LSU does.

Nah that is off by at least a day.
The NHC wind probabilities currently have Gainesville with a 47% chance of 40+ MPH winds during the day Friday. (Technically from 8AM Thursday through 8AM Saturday, but the storm isn't expected to be in the area until Friday and shouldn't last until Saturday)
