Striking difference between Brian Kelly and Jimbo Fisher

Kelly doesn't invite players about to be arrested to represent LSU at Media Days. Nice to have a head coach who sets the tone and is a good judge of character.

Texas A&M senior wide receiver Ainias Smith, who had been scheduled to appear at SEC media days Thursday, was arrested early Wednesday on charges of driving while intoxicated, unlawful carrying of a weapon and marijuana possession.
A team captain in 2021, Smith led the Aggies in receptions and touchdown catches last season while finishing second in receiving yards. Smith is the second prominent Texas A&M receiver to be arrested during the offseason.

He also doesn’t invite players whose first name is an inappropriate part of the body. I guess someone named Ainias would play for the aggies.

Jumbo went to Nick Saban school of character development-which is to say that they don't need character if they develop as players

Ok, so maybe he committed several serious crimes...
We spent much of the summer with air conditioning, so in some jurisdictions (looking at you, Ouachita Parish) there is no criminal liability

So according to aggies code of conduct he should be kicked out of school but we all know that only applies when it’s convenient.

Wait now! Neither one of them owned the gun OR the marijuana! I suppose the owner jumped out the window and fled!

I understand being arrested for driving drunk and illegally carrying a weapon but this marijuana possession shite needs to stop it’s ridiculous how they keep arresting ppl for that smh

It's not hard to obey the law.

That would also be grounds for dismissal under LSU's Student Code of Conduct.
Yeah, we don't enforce it either.

Once they pull you over for suspected drunk driving, they will start the stack charges up on you, thus the cannabis charge - ESPECIALLY since there was a firearm present which automatically escalates the charge up to a felony, if I'm not mistaken.
If the cops passed him smoking a blunt on his own porch, probably no charge.

Maybe the south should follow the Oregon, Washington, California, Colorado, Michigan, New York, Arizona, Vermont, Maine, etc laws that was there will be 0 arrests for it.

A&M is a trashy program with an equally toothless fan base to match.
