SIAP. Good read about his post football life. And a story widely reprinted giving Louisiana a good story, even if the subject is sad.

For many of you new Tiger fans who do not know about Johnny Robinson , he played with one of the best Tiger teams ever. He played with Billy Cannon on the National Championship team. And was drafted #3 in the pro football draft. Regardless, of all the accolades he aquired in football, he and his family are some of the most loving people I've ever known. His father Dub Robinson was the LSU Tennis coach for decades and his brother Tommy Robinson was a SEC champion in Tennis. Dub, after his retirement helped me a new coach at a high school in Alexandria, la. establish a system for teaching and coaching tennis that I will forever be indeted to him. Anyone who ever played the game of football against Johnny Robinson Will attest that he definitely belongs and deserves to be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He was one of the Greats. Please support this effort for him to be voted into the Hall of Fame !

Did any of you guys make a donation to his boy's home in Monroe? It was a place that Dr. Cannon's family asked for donations in his name. Our family went together and sent them some money.
Please do so if you can.
