Derek Stingley Jr. says he will start with the No. 24 at #LSU, perhaps can earn another number somewhere down the line.

Single digits so overdone. Not sure why they fight over them.

You think Greedy and D. White could ever be All Americans without single digit jersey numbers?

If he's as good as some of the recent DBs to wear #7 at LSU then I'll be ecstatic.

I think he takes 2-4 kicks/punts back to the house next year.

Yep. He told us he was uncomfortable with all the #7 talk and that he did not want #7 unless everyone thought he earned it

He is a great kid, raised right, and very respectful. The other day he and my niece were chilled watching a movie at the house and realized it was getting later than he told his dad he would be. Called his dad immediately...was respectful, apologized, and told his dad he was on the way. Dad let him stay to the move was over....but to hear a teenager like him who could easily have a big head, speak so humbly and respectfully to his dad was a nice thing to hear. But he is always polite and helpful to my family. MY sister loves him.

Why can’t he just be 24.

Why do all these LSU players have to constantly change jersey numbers?

The 18 thing is cool but god damn. Who gives a shite who wears 7.
