Seeing some of the old Heisman footage of Woodson winning the award has to make you think. As dynamic as Stingley is and the talk of him playing both ways next year, is it unreasonable to think of him emerging as a candidate as a sophomore or junior?

Well he was better than Chase Young in the final few games of the season and that overhyped dbag will be lucky enough to watch Joe Burrow get the Heisman in person, so I can only think Stingley will get an invite, at the least, if he plays well on offense and keeps it up on defense

For the last week or so, I've actually had a strange feeling that we see an offensive package sometime in the playoff that features Sting.

As bad as I hate to say it, I can’t see anyone coming close to Trevor Lawrence... Next year. But I’ll buy in to him being in the campaign his junior season.

It was supposedly meant as a joke by O, Sting won’t be playing receiver next year

Sting will probably have at least one play on offense next year to feel it out. It’s college, why not.

If they turn him loose on punt returns, and use him some on WR bubble screens, then yes. Unfortunately for his Heisman chances he'll never see these interception totals again, because he'll be the alpha corner, and every team will avoid him like they did Patrick Peterson.

Why? Is Stingley bringing anything that Jefferson, Chase and Marshall are not? He has shown good ball carrying ability on his punt returns, but nothing in the Waddle category.

There have been several threads about this already and was brought up by Gary Danielson during the Georgia game. Coach O promised Sting and his dad that he would get in on the offense after his freshman year. I don't see that as being unreasonable at all with a baller like Stingley.

I thought the promise was that he wouldnt play both ways freshman year. I could be wrong. I am usually way drunk by the end of the game
