Jacoby Stevens keeping it real. Says we would’ve lost this game without Burrow and he’s not happy about the defense at all. Looks so disappointed.

He’s clearly not a coach or a player.

Stevens seems like a leader. I hope he takes this defense over.

Nothing to see here. Defense was just bored. Lol. Own player acknowledging the major issues but tons of “real” fans on here act like it’s fine.

Stevens is the clear leader, and that's part of the problem. The more talented and experienced defenders aren't vocal at all, and lately haven't been leading by example.

Props to Stevens for doing what he can to fill the leadership void.

Agree. He’s visibly upset. I like it.

The players and coaches saying there’s a problem is one thing. They’ll work to fix it.

Fans yapping about the defense is meaningless. So there’s a problem with the defense. So what? The offense is finally good. If they can keep scoring it doesn’t matter. We are in a backward world where LSU’s offense will either win or lose a natl champ. I’m down for the ride.

Jacoby plays hard, hits hard, has a good motor, and almost always daps whoever is a part of the play — teammate or not. I appreciate that kid a lot.

There aren’t any issues with the defense. We’re 10-0

Sat about 10 rows from the bench. #3 was definitely upset with #6 after one of the TDS getting in his grill all while walking on the sidelines back to the defensive bench.

You can be a leader and make mistakes at the same time. The two are not mutually exclusive. If I had to guess I'd say he was as hard in himself as he was anyone else.

This is what I have been saying all morning. Our ILBs are the biggest problem. A 3-4 defense relies on the LBs make the majority of the plays. The DLs eat up the blockers and the LBs fill the gaps. Phillips and Queen are physically talented but they get faked out a lot and hence out of position.
Dont expect free runners getting past the LBs and to see DBs to make a lot of open field tackles
