LSU hasn't played a single game yet, so there's no evidence at all that the Cornerbacks are being "Coached Up."

That’s only a 2+ minute video, but I enjoyed the 2 mins. Impressive. I like him already.

He is a bright young minded coach that has all the tools to be successful at the next level of coaching.

The little things make a championship program.

BK noticed that Steeples has that mentality. You can tell from the video that he stresses winning each rep and working everyday.

Also his personality is conducive for these guys. He seems cool and relatable, someone you would respect and work for.

People don’t think much of it, but as CR’s replacement, there isn’t much to dislike at this stage.

the video posted is literally evidence of him coaching up the DBs...

"be careful with 2 hand jamming, I want a 1-2"
"close the space, cut down his decision making"
"backpedal, open, sprint, sprint, sprint", "cross over, flip, bring it back"

not to mention all his other motivational tactics...

Idk about Kerry Cooks as a DB coach, but this dude will be just as good, or better than Raymond when his time is done.
Taking a HS team from 2-8 to state champions in one year is no joke. Then to maintain a 20 game win streak and back-to-back title appearances.

This dude is a good coach, period. Sometimes you can just tell.

He is an effective communicator (simplification/use of metaphors):

I like the building process (architecture) of football

Character is currency

I have 2 jobs...you have 2 jobs

I can count on 1 hand how many times I have said LSU coaches are effective communicators since 2004

He reminds me a little of Aranda in that he doesn’t seem like a guy that’s gets too high or low with emotion. He seems to like the teaching aspect

He was one of the best hires imo.

Steeples has so many kids wanting to come to lsu from missou.

Christian gray is going to be the next great lsu cornerback.

Ricks could’ve got corched up by this rising star but would rather get turned into a robotic Saban DB drone

what a tosser
