having a legit nba talent in the SEC that year was a huge advantage.

So were Meeks and Varnado.

That remains to be seen, he needs to battle for the top SEC recruits, I'm not sure he can get them for whatever reason.

Smartguy, I'm posting from a phone. Still I don't see what I misspelled. Guess you have to argue like that when you can't prove a point.

Well I spelled it correctly in my reply post so no need to worry toughguy. And of course you don't realize what you spelled incorrectly.

I agree, now go get them.

We'll have to give them some really good reasons to come to BR. Let's hope food, chicks and a superior education will do that trick. Much love to Beatles!

This is the shite that is tough to read on this board. You are utterly devoid of a clue aren't you? It would take two seconds to google our recruiting class for next year, read it, then post. But nope, just easier to make blanket statements about shite you don't know.

Yes, I knew about Johnny O. You've got to control LA. if you're gonna win consistently in hoops.

Your words. I'm just curious how you hold a coach accountable for a loss during the season.

I'll be bumping this thread in the future.

it means not excusing every embarassing loss with well, ''at least he's doing it the right way.'' coaches are judged by wins and losses at the end of the day. if this is another rebuilding year like 2009-10, then trent is looking at a make or break year next season. that's always a dangerous thing.

It's so funny reading your posts. You really believe you know what you're talking about. You've got spunk.

Because if you can't control the backyard, you're probably in trouble.

Everyone that follows basketball thought this was still a rebuilding year. I thought the NCAA was an outside shot, and obviously I was wrong because White hasn't lived up to the billing. But at least I realized it was an optimistic outlook and didn't actually expect it. But there are so many other fans that have never posted about the basketball team on this thread dropping knowledge about their expectations and I realize that they're just not smart.

It's "acceptable" you fricking idiot. Just wanted to point that out because the "i" and the "a" aren't close on the key screen and you seem so knowledgeable about so much that I just thought it was important that you realized it.

But yeah, let's move in another direction because all of those other proven coaches that are just chomping at the bit to come here.

No one is saying move in a different direction now. You're being an overemotional sissy.

However, if you have no concerns about what is going right now, then I dont know what to say.

You somehow found a way to defend losing to Nicholls St at home. I'd love to see the spin you can come up with losing to Coastal Carolina @ home.

Basketball and football aren't even close to being the same thing in recruiting. You obviously don't understand that and think that every top basketball player in LA each year should be signed because that means they're just as good as the top guy in MS or AL or TX, but it just doesn't work that way. Totally different.

Yea it's different if you can consistently go get top talent from other states... not likely unless you're Dale Brown.

I'm not defending the loss. it's deplorable. Just defending the program and TJ, which I think will win here. Just more knee jerk reactions from the usual suspects.

And again, I'm not mad. I just post this way.

What the hell billing did white not live up to? He never had a billing. You're living in your own delusional world tough guy. But hey you're in your mid 20s and work in the athletic dept so you know. Oh yes, you know.

I predicted 4-6 sec wins and 14-16 wins overall. Looking pretty conceivable.

Yeah because Turner, Stringer, and next year with O'Byrant all weren't highly regarded in MS and AL.
