with the 5th(6th?) NBA player Brady brought to LSU in Marcus Thornton leading the way. Not saying Brady is worth a shite, but Trent had the advantage of having a legit NBA player in a very, very weak SEC that year.

I support Trent, but he will live or die on his ability to recruit. I haven't seen the team play this year yet, but this needs to be the last down year under TJ. If you can't get it done in year 4, that's a problem.
i agree with this.....i think this team wins the west next year..

there was no real big time cheating going on at UT...and it only blew up because Pearl shite himself and lied. he is and will be held accountable, not their program.
Yeah not their program. Tenn the basketball power of the conference. The NCAA wouldn't dare mess with them. I mean, it's Tenn we're talking about and it's just common sense guys. shite, thanks NIH. I'm elated that you could vest this board with so much knowledge.

where did i say TJ should be fired? i am simply saying it's time for him to be held accountable for losses like these...it's year three.

it was basically the same team Brady shite the bed with the season before
Brady didn't have Tasmin, but he did have Randolph, who was a 1st rounder

Yes because Brady was such an integral part of recruiting those players and they all liked him so much. Believe me, if there is one thing that I "know" more than you, it's a few guys from that team and how they felt about that coach.
But you seem to know Mark Emmert and what he's going to do to the Tenn program, so maybe I shouldn't name drop.

wasn't thornton was hurt in 2008?

Let's hold him accountable right now!
What should we do? Dock his pay? Suspension? Stoning? I'm game! Let's do it!

i don't give a shite about brady
having a legit nba talent in the SEC that year was a huge advantage.

Trent's a good coach, he just needs to get few top tier players to go with the role players that are currently on the team.

I agree, now go get them.

Considering we have lost to Nicholls State and Coastal Carolina at home in the same season should wave a red flag that we suck and need to do something.
Posted on 12/13/10 at 9:49 pm to natedawgslu10
ahh i was thinking he was hurt.

Smartguy, I'm posting from a phone. Still I don't see what I misspelled. Guess you have to argue like that when you can't prove a point.

If La. has any big time talent coming out this year, TJ needs to rack'em up.

Are you really that dense or do I need to explain it to you? The farthest we went for a player on that starting five was 45 minutes to St. Martinville to get a 5'9" 2 guard. Another was in Denham. And three were either on campus or less than a mile from campus.
Has BR produced that type talent in the last few years that I'm unaware of? Because I'm pretty that's not the case. But what do I know? I mean, you already know Tenn's NCAA investigation outcome.

Your words. I'm just curious how you hold a coach accountable for a loss during the season.
I'll be bumping this thread in the future.
