St. Jude has always had the weirdest kids attend their school. It has historically had the social rejects or trouble kids with a few good kids sprinkled here and there.
Every parent that has told me their kid goes to St. Jude said they couldn’t get them into St. George or St. Aloysious. The Nola boys were not the rejects or trouble kids.

Dunham has weird kids too. St. Jude has never been known for academics or sports.
It’s pretty much the reject school of the catholic schools in Baton Rouge. There is zero prestige affiliated with the school. I know you’re invested in your kids education and it’s better than a public school. Just realize that a school that cancels their biggest fundraiser in their fair when it doesn’t even rain over the three days shows you how competent their leadership is. Be happy that your kid can probably go to CHS or SJA because that’s the only real benefit.
