I remember heading into the Cotton bowl in 2010 and our leading rusher Stevan Ridley was on the fence the week of the game. I dont remember if it was disciplinary or an injury but it was a big deal. If y'all dont remember our offense was very awful that season. Especially the passing game. It was virtually non existant. We relied heavily on the run. Ridley especially. The younger freshmen backs didnt get many carries that year. Inevitably Ridley did play and had a good game but I think Spencer Ware got the start and the bulk of the Carrie's. That was kind of Spencer ware's coming out party. He had a Big game in that bowl and that was the most snaps he took all year.

I guess the point is....no one on our roster is built for this offense like CEH. No one can replace Clyde. But....one of those 3 backs behind him maybe ready to erupt just given the opportunity. Spencer Ware did it as a Freshmen in 2010. Who's to say one of our young backs doesn't shine....

Clyde will be missed if he’s out but best believe the other guys will eat given the opportunity
