We loss so much talent from last year that it's not even comparable to another program. We are not yet at the talent level of Bama, Clemson, or Ohio State where we can just replenish what leaves for the NFL. Of course, I don't think any of those teams could have lost the talent LSU did and still have been competitive this year.

Look at recruiting averages over the last 4 to 5 years

Alabama is the only one that is well ahead of us

And why is that? Could it be because we had a piss poor recruiting class in 2018? And we've had terrible roster management?

Real original. get off your high horse. Failure is unacceptable. This isn't a participation trophy league. People like you are the worst. I bet you sniff your own farts.

And I would love to know what you think our record is at the end of the season and who we beat/lose to. Do you not agree 3-7 is a lot more likely than 7-3?

I'll bet you a $1,000 to your $100 that we win more than 3 games this year. Hell, I'll even make it 4 wins.

Losing to State and Mizzou isn't concerning to you? They're a combined 1-5 outside of playing LSU. Do you ever see Bama or Ohio State have years like this? ESPECIALLY after winning a natty? We are losing top instate recruits the year after winning a natty. That's unacceptable and not a winning culture. Pelini was an awful hire and that falls on O. You probably don't blame him though because you're still high from 2019, right? Dumbass.

We definitely could win 4 games

But the statement was we're more likely to end up 3-7 than 7-3. Do you not agree with that?

The likely outcome is around 5-5 which should be unacceptable for LSU

lmfao. We just had the greatest season in CFB history and you come on here and claim we don't have a winning culture? Jesus Christ some of you are really retarded. And you claimed to be "knowledgeable."

I disagree. We are more likely to be 7-3 then 3-7. Lets bookmark this thread and you can come back at the end of the year and eat crow.

The defense will improve. Our offense (with a lot of new parts) looks as unstoppable as any other SEC team besides maybe Bama (or Ole Miss, but their defense is worse than ours).

Thanks for proving a point. Since 2012, they're 99-10. We are 79-25. Oof. They're constantly in the hunt. We aren't.

Ah, I didn't know losing to Missouri and State, as well as losing top instate recruits, was a winning culture. We clearly are not the same team or program as last year, sorry you can't see that

Lol we aren't there yet...

I really thought we would have 2 losses this year with potential to lose 3 and possibly go undefeated.

Covid hit we lost our best returning offensive player in chase, we lost two of our best 4 players on defense in vincent and shelvin. Covid effected everything and we went from balancing on the knife edge and getting through the season looking good for a 2021 run to being on the knife edge of falling apart with a 2-2 record could very easily be 4-0 we had every opportunity to win ugly and be 4-0 but we didn't football is a matter of inches and it hasn't worked well so far. It's ok to be concerned but the sky is not falling and we have been very unlucky. We can pull it together and pull out a 4loss or less season this year. Just need to hold it together for the season. It is what it is we have had the most unbelievable bad luck this year in EVERY SINGLE way possible. The ball will bounce our way a few more times this year and I think we are due for some good luck. Just take it one game at a time. And we can compete with bama and clemson right now when we are playing our best ball I really think the team took this years schedule for granted when they saw we where facing bottom dwellers and they punched us in the nose. Keep the season going and keep improving every week and I will be happy we will be back in 2021 and will be competing year in year out hopefully starting by 2022 and will have the deep roster that we need for next man up and no mass roster exodus.

We don't WANT to, but there are plenty of reasons. When it's not going well, fans want it to be better, so we "complain."

Fans don't just pretend everything's great. That's called delusion. You want the best for your team, sometimes that means being upset. It's every fan's God-given right.

We (LSU) and any other team may never be the same team as LSU was last year. This is my point. Quit thinking because we won the NC last year that we should be dominant this year. We loss something like 31 players from last years squad, and I don't think that counts some of the opt outs.

If you think LSU should be dominating like last year after losing the amount of talent as we did to the NFL, then you are the idiot.
