There are many Tigers justifiably getting a lot of love, but I haven't been seeing much thrown Chaisson's way. Dude was an absolute beast with 10 total tackles (including 5 assists). Of those, 3.5 were tackles for a loss which is a huge number for a single game against such strong opposition. He would have also had a sack had he not been nearly decapitated by an OL's facemask.

He may have had games with more sacks in the past, but I don't quite recall him having as complete a game as he had last Saturday. Kudos to him.

That's all.

Yep. Huge game. While our front 4 have struggled to get to the QB, they do a great job containing and getting tackles behind the LOS.

After watching him get embarrassed by MSU on the edge 3 yrs ago he has made that his specialty.

He's one of the best at containment and choosing when to blow up the backfield vs. keeping that edge. Speed helps, but that's mostly diagnosing the play and the blocking scheme. Very hard to teach.

Him and Rashard both. They were lights out. The D line stepped up big time for the most part.

Despite all the build up of his potential that was untapped due to unfortunate injuries, Chaisson has a unique opportunity. From the Bama game on he could potentially have 7 games to showcase why he was such a valued player.

He can ball out the rest of the season and declare as a legendary asset in LSU's title run. Go get em' KC!

Chaisson has played great all year! Judging him only on the number of sacks does not do him justice. He is making plays all over the field! He is dropping into coverage playing pass defense, making plays behind the line of scrimmage, breaking up screen passes, etc. He never seems to take a play off and gives maximum effort every play. He is playing at an extremely high level.

As relates to sacks, he seems to be held most of the time. He needs to learn from Chase how to highlight when you are being held. He seems to never complain. He just lines back up and go at it again. That Texas O-lineman held him the whole game. He never complained.
