I know he quit donating to the academic side

I was hoping to see an improvement for the student section at basketball games, less billboard around Alex Box, less neutral site games and some tailgating/parking improvements for home games.

Am I missing something?

Do you understand what an AD is charged with doing?

Why would you give a group of people who don’t go to games now, better seats?

Do you know a student who says: “I would go, but the seats are not good”?

No, because that student does not exist.

The ones that want to go, go.

The answer is sustained success for the basketball team. There is no recent history of prolonged success to keep fan interest from season to season.

As much as I would love to have home games inside of Death Valley playing teams like Florida St. neutral site games are great for recruiting so I’m cool with it.

Students have to show up to get better seats, Neutral site games PAY us big money, billboards bring in money.

It's not the seats. It's the people in the seats.

This is false.

So he's not meeting the list of things YOU want to see done. I bet he doesn't give a shite what YOU think should happen.

Woodward bleeds Purple & Gold. If anyone understands the culture of LSU it’s him. He’ll do what it takes to keep the majority of the programs nationally relevant.

So in other words, cut revenue. Got it. Good plan.

We have played a lot of interesting matchups at "neutral sites". Oregon, TCU, North Carolina, BYU(I know it was moved), and Wisconsin to name a few. More coming.

The decision of how much if any the AD donates to the University is not made unilaterally by the AD. He can recommend. The Chancellor and BOS decide.

He's been on the job less than a year. Give the man some time to evaluate a full season before making necessary changes. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I agree 100%. Let them make the final four a 2 or 3 times or win a natty and the fan interest will go through the roof. Then the "die hards" will be crying about ticket prices, how the students don't have enough tickets and everybody leaving at half time to beat the traffic!

They arent really that great for recruiting. That argument is played out.

Playing the one game in Orlando, sure. But in Nola? How is that good for recruiting?

The texas argument is dumb, especially when some years we play there 3 times.

LSU didnt have a problem recruiting before nuetral site games. Probably because our stadium is the best to have a game and host recruits.

I mean, he’s in charge of the guys who are in charge of each of those things. He’s a head of the whole department and everything is owned by LSU, so if he says they need improvements someone will do it
