In years past, we played great ball right up until bama...then shite the bed and roll around in it in November. I don't get that vibe this year. We crapped the bed early, smeared it on ourselves for a couple of weeks then made steady improvement. I like the direction that we are heading. We can still get double digit wins and for that...I am thankful.

I do not see that happening this time round.

You do realize we blew out Arkansas last year the week after we lost to Bama?

U don't see us beating Arky a&m and tenn? I do and that's 6 of 7 sec games to close out the season. Pretty good considering the bad start. If we win the bowl and get to 10-3 with this teams issues it would be a success imo

Is that because O is a good coach?

We did pretty good after Bama last year. Blew out Arky and TAMU and absolutely shut down the Heisman winner in the bowl. Florida was a loss but we moved the ball well the whole game and defense played good, just kept turning it over, but we didn't look anemic like that year we got shut out in Fayetteville or the year we got BTFO by both Arky and Ole Miss.

Arkansas and Tennessee are probably the two worst teams in the conference and I'm not exaggerating. No excuse to lost to them. And TAMU, well we're their Bama hopefully we continue that. I feel good about closing the season

No. I do not see the team going into a funk. I think they are juiced and ready to beat some folks real bad.

LSU should win out and do so fairly easily. If they drop one of the three then things are definitely not on the upswing like it appears. Those three teams are really really bad at football right now.

I, for one, do not yet know whether Eaux is a good coach or not.

I wasn't going to start us on a coaching debate...but yeah, I noticed that we finished last season better overall under CEO than we did under LES the last 5 years he was here.

Showed a decline in recent years. Thanks for proving my point. We had aspirations of going to great bowls only to drop games late in November that we were favored to win to go to toilet bowls. I for one am tired of that Shite and was reluctant...but relieved to see LSU go a different direction with coaching.

Not the last 5 lie you said.

I did the opposite actually.

If you think losing two games post bama the last two years is better than losing 1...ok I agree with you.

I had seen in the past that it was said that it was because of the way the team practiced all season and them getting worn down.

That this is why LSU would look pretty lethargic at the end of the season and then perform so well in bowl games.

No it didn't. If you look at our post Bama record, it ebbed and flowed as one would expect. we'd go 3-1, 4-1, then 2-2 for a couple of years before turning it around.

Maybe you're forgetting that SEC used to be the dominant college football conference. for 10+ years.

2014, the Arky loss was bad, but the second loss was to Notre Dame in the bowl.
2015, Arkansas was a 5-3 SEC team that won their bowl and we lost to a 10 win ole miss team on the road. Sometimes other teams are just better.

Miles still never had as ugly a loss as the shellacking we got from state this year, or lost to Troy on homecoming.

We agree on that. So you would have preferred to have Cam and Les still coaching this year?

No, but that doesn't mean i need to shite on the accomplishments Les had while he was here. Nor do I need to ump up the "accomplishments" O has had so far.

No one downing Les. He did a fine job overall, but he was trending downward, especially in November. This contributed to him being canned like Charlie the Tuna.
