People act like we’re being run off the field every game.

We’ve allowed 16 stolen bases in SEC play on 20 attempts.

For comparison, Arkansas has allowed 13 stolen bases in 17 attempts in SEC play. Similar to A&M and Auburn.

We have 7 passed balls, to 5, 5, & 4 for A&M, Auburn, and Arkansas, respectively.

The defensive lapses at catcher have been fairly isolated.

McManus is an average defender, making him way better at that than Milazzo is at hitting the baseball

A catcher handles the baseball on almost every pitch. Shortstop fields more grounders than any other position.

Bad defense at those two positions will probably cost us a top 8 seed.

SS & infield defense has killed the team not so much catcher

McManus & Pearson have put the team on a new level offensively

Would be nice. Where's he been? Hurt? I just don't remember at all.

McManus has absolutely cost us a couple of games behind the plate.

I’ve said before, even if Milazzo can just be Hilliard’s personal catcher that would be huge. MH throws more breaking balls than the rest of the staff combined.

Milazzo should be back for Northwestern, after Ole Piss, just in time for Vandy, Hoover, and regionals.

I don’t care if a catcher sniffs the Mendoza line if he almost never has passed balls and can throw out 40%+.

Milazzo was directly responsible for 21 less runs scored in double the amount of games started last year than McManus this year. Mcmanus with 2 errors in 25 games started, Milazzo with 4 in 47 games. Stop with this bullshite. Mcmanus generates more runs which in turn is more valuable

I will add that McManus has 5 more PB than Milazzo had all of last year but my point still stands

Nothing personal, he just isn't SEC material.

I think he is trying to get a medical redshirt from what a family member told me, sounds like when he retweeked it before the grambling game it pushed his recovery way further back…

McManus bay is nice but man him and travinski are horrible receivers, I’ve never seen so many strikes get pass a catcher especially fast balls.. they cost our pitchers a bunch of strikes with that.. travinski is straight up lazy behind the plate, gets down on a knee with runners on base, if I was an opposing coach I’d still on him every chance I had, hell I think big boy from auburn could steal on travinski
