Not really... he did think that he knew you when he posted. Or at least if you look at the posts in a logical order.

He never said he KNEW me, or even thought he knew me.... he just used my userid.... I think he just recognized me from on here, but obviously we have no "history". You are barking up the wrong tree....

I think arwick is okay. He's just sticking up for his team and not just piling on LSU.

59, in this case, he was sticking up for Jay Barkey's piss fit yesterday...and for some weird comparison between Wies as a fallen first season "savior", and what has happened to Coach Miles, and could result now with some bad seasons. I countered that Miles was NOT embraced by the LSU faithful as quickly as Wies was at ND, nor was he ever respected by the press like Weis was right off the bat...

Yes, if the wheels ever fall off, he will be toast, but he has not had near the "honeymoon" that Wies had....

Those were my original POINTS.....

Are a complete joke! None of them are from south of the Mason Dixon Line, other than Bill King.

I'm just saying people liked Coker a lot at first too. I know everyone loves Miles now but coaching is a tough job. I'm not stating he's not a good head coach... I'm just pointing out that fans can turn on a guy very quickly.

Just like Bama will turn on Nick in about 2 years.

Nope, but I do attend right across the street at CrossPoint. Sorry for the delay in answering.

Welcome to Nashville. They have a big Bama audience here. Yes, you get to hear idiots like this from time to time. LSU actually gets pretty good coverage out of respect. But this is Tennessee and they love their Vols. They really like it when LSU beats Bama. I'm gonna listen today because of the subpoena that was slapped on Fulmer. The phones will be raging up here. I don't expect any Gumps will call in today.

This weekend, I was enjoying the TV replays of recent LSU games vs. UT and Bama. I was impressed with the demeanor of Miles on the sideline. He certainly looked "comfortable" to me.

Sports reporters are in the entertainment business. He is using a BCS championship coach to get a rise out of the audience--Big Deal!

Two football players arrested on burglary charges

Ring any bells?
i can't believe you are comparing lsu's situation with bama's. perrilloux wasn't arrested but yet still kicked off the team. the article you cite is from APRIL '07! bama is in a whole different stratosphere compared to lsu when it comes to thuggery.

Miles has upgraded the talent since he arrived.

Also significantly upgraded the coaching staff. Using the Saban Players thing last year was stupid IMO, doing it now is even worse. I still don't see how Miles winning more games with Saban's players then Saban did is a dig on Miles and a positive for Nick. Seems like it should be the other way around, if someone is going to look at it like that.

Miles is a genius. He acts a little off to make everyone think he is not all there, when in reality he is as smart as they come. I'll admit, he had me fooled the first year, but then you begin to catch on to his little game. It's amazing that sports writers haven't figured him out yet. If people want to keep thinking he is stupid or lucky then Miles needs to ride that as long as he can. A stupid man with 5 crystal balls is actually a Genius.
