So, I know to go to 104.9 when 104.5 is staticky

It's pathetic how bad the reception of 104.5 is in Baton Rouge. Right now, I'm picking up some other channel and it's very clear.

yeah its been discussed before, they do not have a strong tower and the network they are one will not buy or broadcast from another one

Use the APP if you have smart phone or get an "HD" radio. I have an HD radio in my truck. I can catch the station clearly from Covington all the way to Jennings Louisiana.
I did not and still do not have the static issues you are experiencing today.

It really is the way to go. You get about an additional 10 second delay, but it is so clear.

Yep. Newer vehicles generally have HD radio. 98.1-2 is the best way to go. No static issues

The HD radio is shite too. Unless you’re in the heart of Baton Rouge, it goes in and out all the time.
When 1049 is working normal, it’s better than the HD channel if you’re slightly outside the city.
