Or did he just make the biggest mistake of his life?

Due to LSU signing a new AD he can come back. But he has to sit out one game.

Some people just refuse advice.
Some people refuse advice and a free degree.
Sad.

So did he not even sign as a free agent?

So wtf Ed? Well he was at LSU for over 3 years hopefully he finishes his degree and can move on to life without football at least as a player. Good luck to him

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if NFL doctors can get 5 or 6 years out of him. They’re the best orthopedists in the world.
I think the uncertainty is why no one wanted to risk a pick on him. That and the fact that he never really did anything outstanding in college.
He could become a contributor for a few years if the bounces fall his way.

He’s a 2 down beast. He’s gonna make NFL $$$ for the next 5 years. Bookmark it

His knees have been bad since high school, personally I think it was smart to leave and see if he could get 2-3 years in the league.

He’s had issues with injury right ? He’s not in the same situation. Complications with a surgery had lingered I remember someone saying. Another brutal sec season doesn’t help him like it would others.

Some people don’t get sarcasm!

He had to leave because of his knees. He probly knew he wouldn’t be drafted or signed right away, he’ll have to prove he can give teams at least a backups amount of snaps before anyone will take a chance on him. 3-4 teams are always looking for true nose guards to play run downs early so he’ll likely get a look but it could take even until well into the season. He didn’t make a mistake he’s just trying to maximize the time he has left to play football.

If you believe in reincarnation.

It's a safer bet that the team orthos are not likely the best orthos in their cities, much less the world.
